Heart Research Symposium

This is a symposium geared towards informing faculty and staff throughout the Children's National Hospital and local collaborative centers about the current research and qualitative improvement performed within the Heart Center at Children's National Hospital. This symposium will be a daylong event with lectures on topics including Neurology and Neuro Outcomes, Cardiac Development, Extra Cardiac Factors and Influencing Outcomes and Technology Innovations.

Target Audience

Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Physician Assistants

Learning Objectives

  • To create a local forum to discuss current approaches to improve the overall outcomes of the CHD population, specifically within the domains of Neurology, Developmental Biology, Extra-Cardiac Management and Technology.
  • Create new opportunities for collaboration and will inform the development of future research to improve CHD outcomes.
