Anita Krishnan, MD
Dr. Krishnan fetal cardiologist and specializes in advanced cardiac imaging. Her research now focuses on stillbirth reduction through improved diagnosis and treatment of fetal cardiac disease. She is currently leading NIH funded work to develop a fetal electrocardiogram device, which would allow for fetal arrhythmia management in areas remote from the tertiary care site. She has also led efforts to study disparities in prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart disease and improve access to fetal diagnostics through telehealth.
She is active in advocacy and health equity work, and previously completed an Albert Schweitzer fellowship and multiple legislative internships. She is currently a faculty associate for the Children's Health Advocacy Institute and active in health equity efforts of the Pediatric Acute Care Collaborative (PAC3).
