Pediatric Health Network’s Business of Pediatrics
This annual CME program provides clinical, coding & practice management updates for community-based primary care pediatricians & practice members. Attendees will improve provider & practice performance under emerging value-based care models (care delivery, quality performance and practice revenue). Our educational content will support efforts to advance the IHI “Quintuple Aim” in pediatrics (improving patient experience, improving population health, improving healthcare value (reducing per capita costs), enhancing well-being of the workforce, and advancing health equity.)

Learning Objectives
Learning Objective 1:
Analyze clinical & financial performance under value-based contracts and implement local practice pilots to improve care gaps/opportunities, coding/quality documentation & practice revenue for attributed patients.
Learning Objective 2:
Identify & incorporate ”best practice” documentation & new 2024-2025 coding recommendations to improve practice & network quality & financial performance.
Learning Objective 3:
Assess challenges of recruiting, engaging, supporting and retaining primary care practice staff/team and identify strategies to pilot in their local practice setting.
Learning Objective 4:
Analyze strategies for improving care quality and practice performance, and identify potential opportunities to implement these strategies in their practice.
Assess the potential of emerging new technologies to better engage patients and families, and develop plans to integrate these technologies into their practice.
