Scott McQuiggan, PhD, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in startups, particularly those in the technology sector. He has a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional product, research, and development teams and driving innovation.  

Before his current role as Co-founder and CEO of Social Cascade, Scott held leadership positions at LearnPlatform and SAS. At LearnPlatform, he served as SVP, Product Development, overseeing product strategy, design, engineering, and research. Prior to that, he was the Director of Curriculum Pathways at SAS, where he led the development of educational software used by millions of students and educators worldwide.  

Scott's expertise extends to various areas, including artificial intelligence, data mining, analytics, marketing technology, digital communications, personalized learning, and education technologies. He is not only a leader in the industry but also a scholar, having co-authored the book "Mobile Learning: A Handbook for Developers, Educators, and Learners" and published numerous articles in academic journals and conferences.  

Scott holds a PhD in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, where his research focused on artificial intelligence, studying its application for affective reasoning in intelligent learning environments. Scott holds a MS from North Carolina State University and a BS from Susquehanna University, both in Computer Science.
