Professionalism in Nursing
This activity aims to establish a collaborative dialogue about professionalism via a panel discussion with clinical nurse leaders of healthcare institutions that allows for student clinical nurse practice and provides employment opportunities to the Conway School of Nursing graduates. The specific mutual goal between academic and clinical nurse leaders for participating in this panel discussion is to address the development, sustainment, and enhancement of professionalism in nursing within the clinical work setting. Professionalism aligns with the provision of person-centered care, and, subsequently, positive patient outcomes. Additionally, a nurse’s journey to professionalism can promote nurse retention and further the advancement of the nursing profession.
