ForwardDOTM Orientation 2026
Program Description
This program is designed to ensure that newly onboarded Department of Transport Medicine (DOTM) staff develop the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment necessary to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients across the age and developmental spectrum. Through targeted learning activities, case-based discussions, and chart reviews, staff will demonstrate competency in assessing, planning, and delivering care in the transport environment—including patient stabilization and safe transfer to the receiving facility. Successful completion includes verified skill demonstration and application of learned concepts in clinical scenarios.
