Program Description:
The proposed Children’s National Epilepsy Program Retreat will bring together Children’s National Hospital Comprehensive Epilepsy Program team members and other stakeholders invested in diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with epilepsy served by Children’s National Hospital. This full-day educational event, including Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology, Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Psychology, Scientists, Researchers, and other members of our multi-disciplinary team and affiliated epilepsy programs in the region aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the latest research, clinical protocols, specialized programs, advanced neuroimaging, genetic testing, and surgical and other therapeutic options available at Children’s National Hospital. By providing a collaborative and interactive learning environment, the retreat will equip attendees with the knowledge and skills necessary to advance epilepsy care, research, and improve patient outcomes.
