Hayley Loblein, PhD
Hayley Loblein, PhD is a licensed psychologist specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. She is a pediatric neuropsychologist at Children’s National Hospital and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and of Pediatrics at George Washington University. She earned her PhD in School Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and her neuropsychology fellowship at Children’s National Hospital.
Dr. Loblein conducts neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents with a variety of medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, sickle cell disease) and neurodevelopmental concerns (e.g., attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders). As a neuropsychologist, she helps families understand cognitive and social emotional concerns, she explains how difficulties may relate to medical factors, and she provides recommendations and resources for patients, families, medical providers, and schools.
Dr. Loblein’s research focuses on how social determinants of health factors (like where a person lives, where they go to school) affect cognitive and emotional outcomes for children with epilepsy and other medical conditions.
