John Schreiber, MD

John M. Schreiber, MD, FAES is the Associate Chief of Epilepsy and EEG Operations, Medical Director of EEG and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and the director of Epilepsy Genetics at Children's National Hospital. His primary clinical and research interests are on the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of genetically-mediated epilepsies, particularly channelopathies. Dr. Schreiber is the Principal Investigator at Children’s National for various epilepsy observational and interventional clinical trials with a focus on neurogenetic disorders. He serves on the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Consortium board, is the co-chair for the Investigators' Workshop Committee of the American Epilepsy Society, and serves on several other advisory boards.
