Tayyba Anwar, MD

Tayyba Anwar, M.D., is an assistant professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. She completed her pediatric neurology training and epilepsy fellowship at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She now serves as the program director of the epilepsy fellowship as well as the co-director of the Hemimegalencephaly program at Children’s National Hospital. Her research interests include epilepsy outcomes and biomarkers of epilepsy following neonatal brain injury and outcomes following serial embolization in neonates with hemimegalencephaly and refractory seizures
