Overview

Program Description: This annual education program provides clinical education for community-based primary care pediatricians and practice members. In addition to clinical didactic sessions, presenters and learners are encouraged to share practical experiences and tools to aid in the evaluation and management of pediatric patients in the office setting and community. Established over 25 years ago, this education program continues to offer “practical pediatrics for practicing pediatricians”.

Learning Objectives

  1. Analyze best practice recommendations & guidelines for management of common pediatric concerns.
  2. ​Identify opportunities to implement clinical best practices into your practice setting.
  3. Characterize appropriateness of specialty referrals for common pediatric concerns in value-based care and payment models.
  4. ​Identify opportunities for collaborative “shared care” between primary care and specialist practitioner.
