Leslie Castelo-Soccio, M.D., Ph.D. is board certified in dermatology and pediatric dermatology. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical and doctoral degrees from Cornell University. After training in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania, she completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and an attending physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia from 2011-2021. Between 2021-2025, she was an Associate Research Physician at the National Institutes of Health directing an alopecia areata natural history protocol and served as the Associate Director of Clinical Research for the National Institutes of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. In May 2025, she became an attending physician in pediatric dermatology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.
