Dr. Jantausch is the Education Lead, Tropical and Emerging Infectious Diseases and an Attending Physician, in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children's National Hospital.  She is a Professor of Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine.  Dr. Jantausch is a former Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program Director.  She is interested in medical education and has received numerous teaching awards.  She is a member of the Children's Academy of Pediatric Educators (CAPE) at Children's National Hospital.  Dr. Jantausch conducts research in medical education and is interested in E-Learning and assessing critical thinking of medical trainees.  Dr. Jantausch is interested in all infectious diseases with a special focus on congenital infections and Global Health.  She is a member of the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society Global Health Committee and of The National Chagas Network.
