Trauma Resuscitation Course 12/09/2025
This training will ensure all staff are proficient in trauma care, equipment use, and critical decision-making in both trauma and transport environments. Participants will gain skills for safe operations in critical care flight settings, effective communication, and patient triage. Additionally, staff will be trained to manage advanced or difficult airways, including alternatives to intubation, ensuring readiness for high-pressure situations.
Learning Objectives
Learning Objective 1: Assess for life threatening trauma in the pediatric population. Participants will be able to assess and treat life threatening trauma, to include burn care and transport of the patient.
Learning Objective 2: Apply the role of the team members in a trauma situation. Participants will demonstrate skills in trauma roles, communication, responsibility as related to patient care, medications administration, and equipment use.
Learning Objective 3: Apply knowledge to use of the equipment used in the trauma setting. Participants will demonstrate skills in trauma setting to include location of equipment, use of equipment, and zone covered by specific role.
