Skin Team Introduction Course 7/8/26
The purpose of this course is to enhance participants' understanding, awareness, and knowledge of pressure injury pathophysiology, treatment strategies, and the prevention of hospital-acquired pressure injuries. Additionally, the course aims to deepen familiarity with the NDNQI data collection framework as it relates to pressure injury prevalence. The agenda includes a Skin Team overview, foundational knowledge on skin health (Skin 101), detailed discussions on pressure injuries, a review of skin care nursing practice guidelines, and insights into national benchmarking standards.
