Course Description
This educational session will provide direct care nurses with knowledge related to pediatric brain tumor management, including commonly used chemotherapy regiments, radiation treatment approaches, and the short- and -long term impacts of therapy on patient care. participants will engage in discussion surrounding oncology-focused nursing considerations and complete a pre-and post-test to reinforce clinical knowledge and support certification exam preparation.

Learning Objectives
- Nurse fellows will have a basic understanding of the most common chemotherapy regimens used in pediatric brain tumor patients and will discuss the ways in which these regiments affect patient care in the short and long term
- Nurse fellows will discuss the different types of radiation used in pediatric brain tumor management
- Nurse fellows will complete the oncology pre and posttest and discuss rationales as certification exam practice
