Precthl General Movements Assessment Basic Course
The Prechtl General Movement Assessment (GMA) training provides healthcare professionals with education on observing and evaluating infants’ spontaneous movements to assess early neurologic function. Through instruction and guided practice, participants will learn how to recognize normal and abnormal movement patterns that may indicate risk for neurodevelopmental disorders, including cerebral palsy. This activity prepares participants to accurately perform the General Movement Assessment and supports eligibility for certification, enabling earlier identification of infants who may benefit from timely intervention and follow‑up care.
No financial nor in-kind commercial support was received for this educational activity.
