Colleen Peyton, DPT, MSCI

Colleen Peyton, is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences and Pediatrics at the Feinberg School of Medicine Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. Colleen received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at MGH Institutes of Health in Boston, Massachusetts and her Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and is on the editorial board for Pediatric Neurology. Her research interests include spontaneous infant behaviour and neuroimaging correlates, neurodevelopmental trajectories in medically complex infants, and early detection of cerebral palsy in infancy. She is the first licensed tutor of the General Movements Trust in North America, and co-developer of the BabyOSCAR assessment. She teaches the Prechtl General Movement Assessment and BabyOSCAR tools to clinicians and researchers internationally.
