Breathing Easier: What's New in the Environmental Management of Pediatric Asthma

May 20, 2026

This activity is provided by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) and features faculty from across the country. Pediatric asthma remains one of the most common chronic conditions in U.S. children, and the environment plays an increasingly significant role in its management.

This webinar guides healthcare providers and school nurses through key updates to NEEF’s Environmental Management of Pediatric Asthma: Guidelines for Healthcare Providers, including new guidance on climate-related triggers such as wildfire smoke and extreme heat, a personalized approach to allergen management, and practical tools for conducting environmental histories and counseling families.

Whether participants are new to environmental asthma management or looking to refresh their practice, this session provides actionable strategies to better serve the children and families in their care.
