2026 HOCU Hazardous Drug Management Nurse Skills Fair
This educational activity is designed to enhance bedside nurses' confidence and competence in the safe handling of hazardous drugs and management of hazardous drug spills. Participants will review Children's National's Hazardous Drug: Handling, Disposal and Spill Management policy, apply key concepts through a case scenario, and practice spill response during a hands-on simulation to promote safe patient care and staff safety.

Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate the selection and use of appropriate personal protective equipment and handling hazardous drugs in accordance with USP <800> guidelines.
