The Role of AI in Psychology
This session introduces psychologists to the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical practice, including its impact on diagnosis, treatment planning, patient monitoring, and research. Participants will develop foundational AI literacy to critically evaluate tools for accuracy, bias, and ethical risk, and learn strategies for responsible integration into practice. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining clinical judgment while leveraging AI to enhance patient care, safety, and equity.
