Dr. Stephanie Lacey is a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist and advanced imaging specialist with over 20 years of experience.  She currently serves as the director of Fetal Cardiology for Children's National Hospital in Richmond and as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University.   In addition, she serves locally as the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Henrico Doctor's hospital.

Dr. Lacey completed her fellowship training at VCU with advanced non-invasive imaging training at Children's National Medical Center.  After graduation she moved to Florida for 13 years where she served as the Director of Pediatric Echocardiography Laboratory and Fetal Cardiac Care Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital.  

Dr. Lacey specializes in advanced, non-invasive cardiac imaging, including fetal echocardiograms and trans-thoracic echocardiograms.  She is passionate about creating collaborative care pathways-working closely with pediatricians, obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists and pediatric cardiovascular surgeons to build safe, comprehensive treatment plans for newborns as well as children. For nearly two decades, Dr. Lacey has dedicated her career to caring for children with heart conditions and supporting families navigating a pre and post-natal diagnosis of congenital heart disease.
