Rina is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in palliative care at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She primarily supports patients and families on the inpatient palliative care service and also contributes to the outpatient palliative care telehealth clinic. With several years in her current role, Rina provides compassionate care and support to patients and families facing serious illness. Before joining MedStar Georgetown, Rina worked as an inpatient unit social worker at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Rina received her Bachelors in Social Work from Saint Mary's College and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland.
