S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner Course 12/12/2025
The goal of the STABLE program is to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver optimal post-resuscitation and pre-transport stabilization care to critically ill neonates. STABLE is designed to improve safety and quality of care for neonates needing to be stabilized and requiring transport to a higher level of care.
Learning Objectives
Learning Objective 1: Demonstrate the ability to perform critical neonatal stabilization techniques, such as securing the airway, regulating temperature, and managing blood pressure, in simulated high-acuity scenarios.
Learning Objective 2: Identify and implement the key components of neonatal stabilization using the STABLE mnemonic to ensure optimal post-resuscitation care.
Learning Objective 3: Apply effective decision-making and communication strategies in interdisciplinary team settings to prioritize and deliver coordinated, safe neonatal care during the post-resuscitation and pre-transport phases.
