Neda Gould

Neda F. Gould, PhD is a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where she is Director of the Mindfulness Program. In addition to treating patients with anxiety and depression using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), one of her primary areas of interest is teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other mindfulness programs to patients, faculty, and staff to address stress and burnout. She is certified in MBSR through the University of California San Diego Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute. She regularly leads clinical and professional mindfulness programs and has been the mindfulness interventionist for several randomized clinical trials. Dr. Gould is a member of the Johns Hopkins Miller-Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence. She lectures nationally and internationally on the benefits of mindfulness for well-being.
