Panagiotis Kratimenos, MD, PhD, is a newborn intensivist and neuroscientist, who studies mechanisms of brain injury in the neonate with the goal of preventing its sequelae later in life. His interest lies in identifying therapies to prevent or improve neurodevelopmental disabilities of sick newborns caused by prematurity and perinatal insults.
