Series Description
This seminar series will allow NICU staff to discuss and evaluate current research in the presence of experts in the corresponding field. This will allow for individualization and application directly to the patient. These seminars will address application of best evidence to neonatal management including current literature, scientific evidence, evaluation tools, and billing. They will help clinicians identify resources within the institution that will improve their practice and increase efficiency. The learning objectives for this series are: 1. Apply original and innovative research to the care that is delivered daily to newborns in the NICU. 2. Apply the latest evidence-based guidelines to clinical practice. 3. Apply established best practices in teamwork and communication.
