RN Team Lead 12/5/25
The goal is for staff members to create and maintain a safe, tolerant, and calming work environment. They will develop skills to manage personal conflict as well as facilitate third-party conflict and hold staff accountable by using the tools found in this course. They will further develop their leadership skills to be used when resolving conflict within a team dynamic while acting as a shift leader. Nurses new to the transport environment will learn skills to improve their communication and leadership abilities in order to act as the team leader when in the transport environment working with a bedside transport team. Team members will learn to analyze learning styles and work with the to teach and give feedback in the role of preceptor.

Learning Objectives
Learning Objective 1: Analyze Nursing Roles: We will review and dicuss the leadership role and responsibilities of the bedside RN, charge RN, code RN, and a preceptor. We will review and discuss the differences in the transport setting.
Learning Objective 2: Nursing Process: Review of Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Define the differences and considerations in the transport setting and how to communicate and expedite these differences in the transport team setting.
Learning Objective 3: Participants will apply effective team lead strategies: Anapyze the qualities of an effective leader. Participants will apply different communication styles encounter by a leader and the kind one should use.
