Children’s National Hospital’s 2026 Pediatric Nutrition Symposium is designed to provide updates on current hot topics among the field of dietetics. This program provides participants the opportunity to engage and learn about common issues impacting pediatric patients with complex nutritional needs.

Target Audience
This symposium is intended for pediatric dietitians, dietetic interns, dietetic students, pediatricians, pediatric pharmacists, pediatric nurses, pediatric speech language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals interested in pediatric nutrition.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the role of nutrition in the growth and development of children, with a focus on evidence-based practices and current research.
- Discuss nutrition hot topics in the context of pediatric health, including breastmilk in the CICU, motivational interviewing, formula modulars, end of life nutrition, role of the NDTR, neuromuscular disorders, and more.
