The PANDA Prep Curriculum: Preparing the adult hospice nurse to care for the pediatric patient (e-learning)

Course Description

This course is designed to support nurses who care for pediatric patients in hospice settings and who have experience working with adult hospice patients but little to no experience caring for pediatric patients. The course focuses on building foundational knowledge, confidence, and clinical awareness related to pediatric hospice care. The overarching goal is to improve access to hospice services for pediatric populations by strengthening provider understanding and preparedness.

To complete the course, participants will complete 10 self‑paced modules (approximately 30 minutes each), three virtual precepting visits (approximately 30 minutes each), and a pre‑test and post‑test to assess knowledge gained.
