Intimate Partner Violence Screening e-learning Module
Course Description
This educational activity presents three scenarios of intimate partner violence (IPV), guiding learners through appropriate strategies to recognize, respond to, and support individuals experiencing IPV. Each scenario is supplemented with key teaching points that highlight best practices in the care of those affected by domestic and dating violence. Evidence-based references are provided throughout, including resources from the CDC’s Violence Prevention website, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, and a complementary Children’s National Hospital module on Trauma-Informed Care. The module concludes with a comprehensive list of local, national, and CNH-specific support resources for victims of IPV.
