Course Description
The goal of the Hematology Oncology Preceptor Workshop is to strengthen nurses in their preceptor roles by providing specific training for hematology oncology nurses. It focuses on enhancing the orientation process and ensuring alignment with APHON standards of care, ultimately aiming to improve patient safety and care quality. Nurses will need to understand how to support new staff, pair preceptors with orientees effectively, and follow evidence-based practices and institutional guidelines.
