Goldberg Lean Transformation Project
The goal of this activity is to enhance the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care by engaging healthcare team members in Lean transformation principles and practices. Through structured learning and discussion, participants will gain skills to identify waste, improve workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within our health center. The activity aims to empower participants to apply Lean tools in their daily work, leading to measurable improvements in patient outcomes and team performance.

Learning Objectives
Analyze existing clinical or operational workflows to identify sources of waste, variation, and inefficiency using Lean tools such as value stream mapping or root cause analysis.
Apply Lean improvement strategies—such as Kaizen events or rapid-cycle PDSA testing—to create, implement, and assess measurable changes that enhance quality, safety, and efficiency in patient care.
