ForwardDOTM Fall Skills 2026
This activity will provide critical care transport team members with updates on evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines for managing high-acuity pediatric patients. Topics include the assessment and management of pediatric diabetic emergencies, advanced care considerations for patients with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), proper application and use of Aspen cervical collars in trauma patients, and safety practices for working in and around the ambulance environment. Participants will engage in simulation-based scenarios designed to reinforce clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication, and the application of best practices in the critical care transport setting.
