Commensality Session #6: SCU
Washington, DC US
March 8, 2025
The goal of commensality sessions is to build a culture of connection among nurses and healthcare professionals they frequently interact with, improving communication, teamwork, and overall clinical practice. By fostering social interactions, these sessions help reduce workplace stress, burnout, and turnover rates, ultimately leading to better, safer patient care. Healthcare professionals need to strengthen their relationships and well-being to enhance collaboration and maintain a positive, supportive work environment. This is an IRB-approved research study with pre-post intervention data collection through the UCLA loneliness survey and ACCN Healthy Work Environment Assessment Tool.
