Bad Blood (Busulfan’s Version): New Therapeutic Drug Monitoring in Stem Cell Conditioning 1/30/2025
This educational activity aims to address the knowledge gap among pharmacists, Nurses, and Medical Providers regarding busulfan pharmacokinetics, a key drug in stem cell transplant conditioning. With new literature highlighting the potential for expanding therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) to additional conditioning agents, this activity will provide up-to-date evidence on current pharmacokinetic practices and explore emerging TDM strategies for other drugs in stem cell transplant regimens. The goal is to enhance understanding and preparedness for implementing these new practices to improve patient care and outcomes.
