Program Description:
QuILT is a rapid-paced, project-based, 4-month intensive Quality Improvement (QI) training course designed for leaders. This program combines didactic sessions with hands-on projects and homework assignments, providing a comprehensive learning experience. Participants will engage in real-world quality improvement initiatives, working with multidisciplinary teams to implement and sustain meaningful changes. QuILT equips leaders with the strategic planning, change management, and leadership skills needed to champion QI efforts and foster a culture of continuous improvement within their organizations.
Learning Objectives:
- Analyze clinical or operational processes to identify gaps in quality, safety, or efficiency within their practice setting.
- Apply core quality improvement methodologies including process mapping, root-cause analysis, and PDSA cycles to real-world improvement projects.
- Interpret data collected from QI initiatives to assess progress, evaluate outcomes, and inform next steps.
- Create and implement an actionable QI project plan that engages multidisciplinary team members and supports sustainable improvement in patient care or system performance.
