Emergency situations require rapid access to critical medications, supplies, and equipment. This educational activity is designed to address knowledge and skill gaps related to code cart readiness by increasing staff familiarity with code cart organization, contents, and item locations. The activity is being led by the Night Shift Shared Nursing Leadership Council and delivered through unit-based rounding to maximize staff participation. Council members with expertise in emergency response, including Crisis Nurses and ICU nurses, will provide just-in-time teaching and hands-on instruction using simulation code carts within the clinical environment. Participants will actively practice locating and retrieving essential emergency resources, strengthening confidence, efficiency, and teamwork during resuscitation and other emergency events. The goal is to enhance emergency preparedness, reduce delays in care, and support safer, more effective patient outcomes.
