DaSean C. Jones is a native Washingtonian and graduate of Anacostia High School with a BA from the University of the District of Columbia. DaSean C. Jones currently works as a Parent Engagement Education Resource (PEER) Specialist within D.C. Child and Family Services Kinship-PEER unit.  This unit works vigilantly with bio-parents to help them navigate the family court system to successfully reunify with their children.

DaSean has worked for over 20 years in human services for Department of Recreation in Aquatics, Potomac Job Corp as a Recreational specialist, Seed Public Charter school as a Residential Advisor, and Capitol Hill Group Ministry as a Case Manager, dedicated to the safety and well-being of families and children in the District of Columbia. Since 2017, he has been volunteering as a member of P.A.V.E. (Parents Amplifying Voice in Education), as a Parent Leader in Education for D.C. Ward 7 to help parents have a voice in improving our education system standards and policies.

DaSean is a proud and committed father of four children, a brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and an avid swimmer.
