Keely Magyar, JD, Child Welfare Law Specialist
Keely Magyar, who has practiced child welfare law for twenty-seven years, is a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Family Services Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Keely represents the Child and Family Services Agency in HOPE Court, a treatment court for youth who have been commercially sexually exploited and who are involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Keely understands the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the prosecution and treatment of child abuse, and she has a wealth of experience working collaboratively with diverse teams of professionals, including social workers, medical experts, law enforcement, and mental health providers.
