Mrinmayee Takle, MD

Dr. Mrinmayee Takle, MD, is a board-certified pediatric neurologist at Children’s National Hospital and Pediatric Specialists of Virginia. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency and child neurology fellowship at Children’s National. Her clinical practice and research are dedicated to both general neurology and complex pediatric headache disorders, including procedural intervention (nerve blocks and onabotulinum toxin injections), and authoring publications on topics including New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH) and migraines. Alongside her headache expertise, Dr. Takle has engaged in global health initiatives throughout her training, including community clinic work in Peru, EMS research in Guatemala, and published clinical research regarding pediatric cerebral malaria in Blantyre, Malawi.
