Violet Dubay, BSN, RN, RNC-NIC

Violet started her nursing career at Children’s National in August of 2010. Violet spent the first 12 years at the bedside in the NICU and then spent 2 more years in the NICU as a Clinical Educator helping to run the new graduate orientation program. Since 2024 Violet has been developing a procedure nurse role within the GI Clinic at Children’s National while also helping families with various feeding tube related support. Violet has been able to launch clinic Hydrogen Breath Testing for Lactose Intolerance and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. Prior to Violet’s time in GI, the Hydrogen Breath Testing had been done through a company that provided home testing kits. Violet has also helped Dr. Louis-Jacques to launch an unsedated Transnasal Endoscopy Program (TNE) for patients with the diagnosis of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE) that require frequent endoscopies.
