Professional Nurse with over 40 years of pediatric clinical care experience in pediatric intensive care, pediatric emergency department, transport services, legal nurse consultant, as

well as  inpatient and outpatient care. During this time I have functioned in the roles of clinical nurse, nurse manager, and nurse educator.

I am certified currently as a Pediatric Advanced Life Support and PEARS Instructor, BLS Instructor, and certified currently as a Pediatric Emergency Nurse, and previously as a

Health Simulation Educator. Additionally, I am Adjunct Faculty for the University of Maryland School of Nursing.

Currently in my role as Professional Practice Specialist for Ambulatory Services, I provide training for all members of the nursing care team through Didactic Presentations,

Simulation Events, and Just in Time Learning Sessions. I oversee the Orientation Program of experienced and novice nurses. I have led 4 Ambulatory Conferences at CNH and

co-led 3 Pediatric Conferences at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

My passion is Emergency Preparedness regarding Medical Emergencies in the Ambulatory Arena.
