For over 30 years, my focus has been on Physician and NPP/APP coding education on procedures, E&M, modifier coding accuracy and includes education for any areas of opportunity. I have participated in Steering Committees and workgroups with physicians on projects related to CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10- CM/PCs, medical record documentation review; Medicare/Medicaid fraud and abuse issues; corporate compliance programs; reimbursement issues; internal policies and procedures; and other regulatory matters. I am a frequent speaker at coding seminars and a prior local AAPC chapter Education Officer.
