Tisha Clay is an educator with more than twenty years of experience helping patients and families navigate school while managing chronic or acute illness. She has a BA in Special Education and MEd in Education Technology and Instructional Design. Tisha specializes in supporting students with cancer and brain injuries and is currently the Assistant Manager for the Hospital School Program at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She is passionate about bridging the worlds of education and healthcare to address the academic challenges encountered when children are undergoing medical treatment, especially ongoing treatment for a chronic illness.
