Auxiliary Flight 06/09/2026
This Auxiliary Flight course prepares participants to interpret and apply flight policies within the air medical environment while demonstrating key daily flight procedures, including briefings, aircraft walk-arounds, communication practices, inclement weather operations, and debriefing processes. Participants will develop competency in flight helmet use and care, including identifying components, proper fitting and securing, and appropriate storage and maintenance through return demonstration in the aircraft setting. The course also emphasizes safety in the helicopter environment, with participants assessing helipad and aircraft conditions and demonstrating safe operation of equipment, communication devices, and practices around active aircraft and moving rotors.
