Kristina Yarrow, MPH

Kristina Yarrow, MPH, is a Senior Program Manager in the Global Services Department at Children’s National Hospital. She brings more than 20 years of experience working across global health, government, and hospital settings to strengthen health systems and improve delivery of care. Her work has focused on translating evidence and policy into practical, scalable programs that expand access, improve quality, and support more equitable health outcomes.
Prior to joining Children’s National, Ms. Yarrow served as Director for Primary Health Care at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where she led multi-country initiatives to advance primary health care systems and align large-scale investments with measurable results. She also served as Deputy Director of USAID’s global COVID-19 Response Team, helping oversee efforts to expand access to vaccines, diagnostics, and treatment across more than 100 countries.
At Children’s National, her work focuses on international partnerships and advisory programs that extend pediatric expertise globally. She is particularly interested in how technology-enabled care models—including remote monitoring, as well as emerging areas such as cell and gene therapy and newborn genetic screening—can strengthen health systems and improve care for children with complex needs.
