PICU Bereavement Panel 2026
The goal of this activity is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to care for patients and their families who are at end of life. Participants will gain insight from the families' experiences and interactions with staff during their child's end of life hospital stay. The Panel provides an opportunity to honor the children who have passed by allowing family members to tell their story and share memories. Additionally, it will allow participants an opportunity to focus on improvements we can make as a healthcare system. This will enhance the ability of team members to better care for patients and families during end-of-life care and after the child has passed.
