The 2026 Winter Safety Symposium will build awareness and practical application of High-Reliability Organization (HRO) principles in clinical practice, with a focus on communication, infection prevention, and medication safety. Through interactive simulations and frontline engagement, participants will learn to apply safety protocols, partner with patients and families, and use systems-based thinking to reduce preventable harm. The symposium will emphasize on speaking up, shared accountability, and integrating HRO principles into daily workflows to support safer, higher-quality care for patients and staff.
