Jillian Campbell, MS, RN, CPNP-PC
Jillian Campbell, MS, RN, CPNP-PC is the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Program Coordinator in the Department of Advanced Practice Providers and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Hematology at Children’s National Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from New York University’s Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program in 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College in 2011.
In her role as APP Program Coordinator, she coordinates APP new-hire orientation and simulation, supports educational and professional development initiatives for APPs, and oversees coordination of all APP students at the hospital. Clinically, she cares for patients in hematology/oncology and has a background in sickle cell disease. Her professional experience spans pediatric hematology/oncology, primary care, and complex care.
She has been actively involved in national conference presentations, has published several research articles, and co-authored a textbook chapter on pediatric palliative care in the hematology setting. She is also the Secretary of the DC chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Her professional interests include caring for children with chronic and complex medical conditions, palliative care, and addressing social determinants of health.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three young children, cooking, and exploring the Washington, D.C., area.
